[NEWS] K&E_Business Restructuring Approved Company

We are pleased to announce that KND Co., Ltd. has been officially selected as a "Business Restructuring Approved Company" through the 46th Business Restructuring Committee organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE).

Among 24 selected companies, KND was recognized for its innovative potential and strategic business transformation. Over the next five years, these companies are expected to invest a total of KRW 868.1 billion and create 1,390 new jobs, entering new high-growth industries to strengthen future competitiveness.

As part of our business restructuring plan, KND will develop a safety device that automatically opens in response to increased internal battery temperature or pressure, preventing potential fire hazards. This initiative leverages KND's core expertise in precision press die manufacturing and represents a major step into a new business area.

We expect this development to contribute to the safety and sustainability of the electric vehicle and secondary battery industries.

Through this project, KND aims to grow into a future-oriented company that balances technological innovation with environmental responsibility.
